#1 – Sept.5th General Meeting Review
Minutes adopted.
#2 – Joe Millard – Membership Dues coming in steadily, financials are being reviewed from last year and should be in by the next GM.
#3 –Lynn Allan Apprenticeship Chair –
The Drafting Supplies that we agreed to supply for the Jan.4th and future classes SAIT is sending us a shopping list that we will need to complete.
The equipment for the new space should be here next week
2nd year class is full (Jan.)
3rd year class in May has 6 seats left.
So Far the GTA is overdrawn 2900 from setting up the school here in Edmonton, we may need to solicit additional funds for the drafting supplies, any donations welcome.
#4 – Wendy Clarahan – Special Project
ASAP Need Volunteers for Booths – please email Wendy @ clarahanwl@visionwall.com
ASAP Need Job Postings that you would like to see at the booth. Please Courier as many as you would like distributed to Wendy at 17915 118 Ave Edmonton, AB T5S 1L6 If you would just like them to be posted on the backdrop to be copied down by any interested please still send the information to Wendy at clarahanwl@visionwall.com and specify that you would like it just kept at the booth.
We also NEED Photos for the Backdrop, please send high resolution photos to Wendy at : clarahanwl@visionwall.com with a small caption if you would like to get the project at the booth.

#5 – Henry Szewczyk – Guest Speaker Committee Chair
Dec 7th – Wine and Cheese Evening
For the March Meeting we are trying to confirm Richard Ogle from Building Envelopes
For the April Meeting we are trying to confirm an equipment/lift specialist
May Meeting is still open, we are looking at Chuck Kerr from PPG for a Coatings Presentation
#6 – Newsletter for November –
We need a new featured project for the front page – if you have one that you would like to submit please email it to Kaylee.Juniper@hotmail.com with a few small paragraphs on what the building is, how big it is, when it was built, the man power involved, glazing system used, amount of glass used, etc along with some photos of the project both during construction and completed if possible. If we have more than one submission we will draw for the feature project.
Darcy Weiss from Jobsite Workwear may be interested in posting an article in the newsletter in regards to new technologies in the clothing department for our guys.
We need photos for the Newsletter, please send in any notable projects along with a small caption that could be posted with it.
We also need some ideas for the Safety Story and New Technology Sections, if you have any ideas please contact Kaylee at Kaylee.Juniper@hotmail.com

Sonny has contact United rental in relation to the boom presentation coming out in April, this may be a prelude to that meeting.
