#3 –Lynn Allan Apprenticeship Report
3rd year class is full
#4 – Newsletter – would like to put it to a vote as to whether or not we can charge a subscription fee for non-members to receive the newsletter through the mail. We will still offer the newsletter in electronic form. We would also like to discuss the change of the newsletter from 4 times a year to twice a year in color and possibly offering ad space for purchase. We will be expanding the newsletter this year to include Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and the NWT.
We have opted for going with 2 times a year in color as it will looks much nicer, professional and cost saving. Kaylee will begin assembling the electronic database. We will be building the electronic database with information from All-glass Parts - IT WILL TAKE TIME – we will still offer subscription to non-members.
Anyone who would like to submit a feature project please email Wayne Brandt wayne.brandt@alcoa.com
#5 – Joe Millard - Treasury
Final Treasury report is posted on website. Expenses over revenue was about 3200
#6 – Golf Tournament – Ryan will send the information to Kaylee, we are hoping for Sandpiper again and we will post it in the Glass Canada magazine if possible.
North/South tournament will be at Wolf Creek unless something else comes up.
#7 – Safety Meeting in April – Sonny was in contact with United Rental but they backed out, he is currently researching other avenues.
